Terms and Conditions

1). First Class Loyalty Club (Club) of N. Daskalantonakis Group of Companies, is directed to clients of Classical Hotels, who are at least 18 years old.
2) The membership card is for personal use, remains as property of the Company “Elliniki Touristiki AXTE” and must be returned upon request.
3) The membership card is not a credit card. As soon as the members receive the card, they have to notify immediately and they are not allowed to transfer it to any third party. The members are obliged to keep it in good condition.
4) The members have to notify immediately and in writing the Club’s Offices for any change in the data contained in their membership application, otherwise the Company will not be liable in cases of loss and/or lack of communication.
5) The points that the members receive are stated as “club points”.
6) Member’s Registration: a) Club registration for members is free, b) The membership application can be filled either at Classical Hotels, Group’s city hotels or via Classical Hotels’ website or at the main offices of the Club, c) An overnight stay or food and beverage expenditure at Classical Hotels is not prerequisite for registration in the club, d) Registration can be asked during an overnight stay of the client, and in such case, the membership card will be credited with the corresponding points earned on this specific stay, e) A client who dines at a Classical Hotel without staying at the same time and wishes to fill the membership application cannot ask registration at that time and the points of such expenditure cannot be added in, f) Members will receive the official membership card by post office after their second stay at any Classical Hotel.
7) Points Collection: a) “Individual Direct” and “Corporate” customers can win points, which are awarded as follows: For each Euro of accommodation expenses, 10 “club points” are awarded. For each Euro spent in restaurants, breakfasts, bars/mini bars, 5 “club points” are awarded to the member, b) Members belonging to the categories of Travel Agencies, Groups, Crews or Classical Vacation Club, win fixed points on each overnight accommodation according to the category which is applied each time for each hotel. The categories are stated via the web site www.classicalhotels.com/firstclass . For each Euro spent in restaurants, breakfasts, bars/mini bars, 5 “club points” are awarded to these members, c) All Club members win 1 “club point” for every Euro of expenditure concerning extra charges (banquet, telephones, e.t.c) made in a Classical Hotel, as long as these are not fall in the categories of Accommodation (stays) and F&B (breakfast, restaurants, bars, mini bars). The accounts concerning extra charges have to be squared at Classical Hotels’ receptions, d) Points from consumptions in Classical Hotels’ restaurants and bars, are only awarded for charges of up to 20 persons, e) Members can earn points for any consumption in the F & B areas of Classical Hotels for expenditures of above 15 Euros per receipt or invoice. During their stay at Classical Hotels, members win points regardless of the amount spent for consumption, as long as it is charged to their room, f)All Club members earn 400 points for each car rental in AVIS, as long as they make the reservations via web sites: www.classicalhotels.com or www.avis.gr and give the last 12 digits of their member id number, g)No points are awarded to members who make use of free overnight stays at Classical Hotels h) No points are awarded to members for the overnight stays they have made, prior to their registration at the Club, i) Provided that the member makes a reservation for the same period for up to 2 rooms/apartments and pays the cost for this reservation, the member will be awarded with the proportional amount of points. In case the total cost results from the reservation of more than 2 rooms/apartments for the same period of time, then the member will be awarded with the proportional amount of points which results from the 2 highest expenditures, j) Members cannot buy “club points” with money or via any other kind of transaction, k) Members cannot win points during their stay at Grecotel Resorts of the N. Daskalantonakis Group of Companies, l) If members do not mention before the issuance of the receipt or the invoice that they are members of the Club, they are not entitled to any point’s award. In case points are earned in a way that is not in accordance with the above mentioned terms & conditions, First Class reserves the right to eliminate all points earned without any notification to the member. m) The Club reserves the right to inactivate the members who haven’t made any use of their membership card for the last 2 years starting from their registration date. N ) The Club reserves the right to delete the members who have registered via internet and have not activate their registration within a period of 3 months,
8) Points Redemption: a) First Class members can receive free overnight stays, spa treatments, cars rental from AVIS by using the redemption of the points earned, b) Free overnight stays, spa treatments and cars rental from AVIS will be awarded to members, following an arrangement with the main Club offices, while free overnight stays and spa treatments, will always be subject to availability of the hotels included in the current Club Redemption List, c) The Club reserves the right to refuse redemptions in case the requested hotel’s occupancy is over 80%, d) The Club has the right to exclude certain dates from the free overnight stay award program when it considers it advisable (black out nights): dates when conferences, exhibitions or other events are happening (for example during the International Exhibition of Thessaloniki and others), Classical e-Filoxenia Hotel (Kalamata), Classical Egnatia Grand (Alexandroupolis), Classical Vouliagmeni Suites (Attiki) and Classical Plaza Spa Suites (Crete) are excluded from July 15th until August 31st, also the period of Easter, Christmas and official Greek holidays e.t.c. e) The number of points subtracted for each night of accommodation or spa treatments is in accordance with the current Club Redemption List, f) Members are not entitled to a room upgrade during their free overnight stays and they can only come to an agreement for such an upgrade directly with the hotel, g) First Class members wishing to stay at the hotel longer than their free overnight stays have to make their own booking directly with the hotel and pay the respective price, h) Free overnight stays, spa treatments or cars rental from AVIS will be granted to members only when they submit sufficient proof of their personal data, i) In case a member who has asked for points redemption and booking has been made for free accommodation or car, decides not to show up, the points of the first free overnight stay are immediately deducted from its account, unless it informs the Club within a period of 24 hours earlier than the check in hour, k) members have the right to request redemption for as many rooms as they wish and can afford, according to the points earned without limitation, taking into account the above term 8 (d).
9) Corporate members are those who make their reservations through the company they work for and / or their reservations are paid from the same company. In such cases the points are admeasured in the name of the cardholder. The invoice must be issued either directly in the cardholder’s name or in the company’s name, where still the cardholder has to be mentioned as a natural entity. (For expenses charged on a company group account, points can not be awarded).
10) The Club will communicate frequently with members via e-mail, regular mail or by using any other medium which will be considered as appropriate. The Company reserves the right to inform its members about all activities of the N. Daskalantonakis Group of Companies, as well as any other third party activities associated with the above Group of Companies.
11) In case of any change in Club’s Terms and Conditions, a relevant announcement will be made via Classical Hotels’ website, www.classicalhotels.com
12) There are two membership classes: Á) GOLD, which includes all new members and Â) Platinum, when a member makes at least 10 stays at Classical Hotels in a calendar year, it automatically becomes Class B member and its points are automatically transferred to its new Platinum card
13) Points are valid for two (2) years as for the last overnight stay for Class A (GOLD) members. In the event that the member spends 1.500 € on F & B departments within one year in Classical Hotels, it extends the validity term of the points for another two (2) years.
14) The Class B (Platinum) points are valid for one (1) year after the issuance date of the card. After the expiration of the card, the member does not lose the points, only the privileges, and continues to use the Class A (GOLD) card. As long as the first class member makes at least a stay during the running year, the platinum card is automatically renewed. 15) The simple hotel double rooms are considered for Club’s purposes as standard rooms and the Junior Suites (and above) for all Classical Hotels.
16) The members should submit a summary application to the Club to redeem, at least 7 days in advance of the desired accommodation dates, spa treatments or at least 1 day earlier for car rentals.
17) The Club reserves the right to amend its offers at any time after having its members informed via e-mail or through the web site.
18) Membership privileges will be granted only to the cardholder upon display of the membership card.
19) The Club may cancel any membership in case of breach or violation of the Club’s Terms and Conditions, by eliminating all points earned and without any further obligation towards the member.
20) The number of points will be shown in the system maximum 7 working days after the last consumption at Classical Hotels or car rental in AVIS. Members can find all information about their points, by visiting the website of Classical Hotels at www.classicalhotels.com/firstclass , where they can log in by using their personal member id which is kept in the company’s main server, or by calling the main Club offices.
21) The Club reserves the right, whenever it is advisable, to change any of its Terms and Conditions. The members will be informed relevantly by any convenient medium.
22) By signing the registration form, the member agrees and accepts the following: a) the Club will elaborate and maintain members’ personal data in files. This procedure is already notified to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority. The main purpose is the support and promotion of the business relationship between the two parts. Moreover, elaboration of members’ personal data, serves marketing purposes in general concerning the promotion of tourist products and services, b) in case of any changes concerning the purposes of elaboration of members’ personal data, members (subjects) will be informed relevantly, c) Hellenic Touristic S.A. is nominated as “responsible for the elaboration” of members’ personal data, d) First Class is empowered to forward members’ personal data in companies associated with N. Daskalantonakis Group which are situated either inside or outside the European Union ( with previous notification of Hellenic Data Protection Authority and since approval is taken) and in case this is necessary due to operational and machinable service of business’ relationship.
23) Each Club Member is obliged to check, after every transaction, the accuracy of the numbers of points earned. The Company gives no warranty and makes no presentation and will have no liability to the members regarding the proper fulfillment of the obligations of companies or shops, which are cooperating with the Club, and relevant losses or damages that the member may suffer. In such cases, the Club undertakes to replace the award with any other of equal price.
24) Club members may notify the Club, whether they agree, about the following: parts of their habits, which are relevant only with their hotel accommodation, in order the Club has the opportunity to offer its members relevant services, when and where this is feasible.
25) Members must notify immediately and in writing the Club, in case that the card is stolen, demagnetized, destroyed or lost, or in case its usage is illegal, and the member is liable for any loss or damage that could arise, until the official notification. All points earned until that moment, will be automatically transferred to their new card.
26) In case that a member loses or destroys its card more than twice, then it will lose 200 points for each new card issued. Such points will be immediately deducted through the Club’s electronic system.
27) The Club reserves the right to delete the members which will be remain inactive within a period of ten (10) years after their registration date.
